چکیده

Abstract The formulation of a discrete-time anti-windup scheme for linear systems with constrained control signals is extended to the sampled-data case. Thus, the control of a continuous-time linear plant via a discrete linear nominal controller and a discrete anti-windup compensator is considered. Stability of the antiwindup compensator is equivalent to the known discrete problem while a hybrid induced / norm is considered for antiwindup performance. Linear sampled-data lifting techniques are used to reduce the hybrid problem to an optimization problem in the discrete-time domain. A flight control example shows the effectiveness of the discrete and the sampled-data technique.

Discrete-time Anti-windup: Part 1 - Stability and Performance

The anti-windup problem is formulated in discrete-time using a configuration which effectively decouples the nominal linear and nonlinear parts of a closed loop system with constrained plant inputs. Conditions are derived which ensure an upper bound on the induced l2 norm of a certain mapping which is central to the anti-windup problem. Results are given for the full-order case, where a solutio...

Linear matrix inequality approach for synchronization of chaotic fuzzy cellular neural networks with discrete and unbounded distributed delays based on sampled-data control

In this paper, linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach for synchronization of chaotic fuzzy cellular neural networks (FCNNs) with discrete and unbounded distributed delays based on sampled-data controlis investigated. Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional combining with the input delay approach as well as the free-weighting matrix approach are employed to derive several sufficient criteria in terms of...

Convex Synthesis of Multivariable Static Discrete-Time Anti-Windup Via the Jury-Lee Criterion

Due to its ease of application, the circle criterion has been widely used to guarantee the stability of many anti-windup schemes. While the Popov criterion gives less conservative results, it has been conjectured in the literature that it cannot be used for convex anti-windup synthesis. This paper shows that the conjecture does not necessarily apply in the discrete-time setting. We show how the...

Stability Analysis and Anti-windup Design for Discrete-time Systems by a Saturation-dependent Lyapunov Function Approach

This paper deals with the stability analysis and anti-windup design of discrete-time systems subject to actuator saturation. We present a new saturationdependent Lyapunov function to estimate the domain of attraction, which is then formulated and solved as a constrained LMI optimization problem. Further we propose an anti-windup compensation method to enlarge the domain of attraction in the pre...
